A campaign to teach U.S. troops how to manage their money and not get fleeced by financial predators was launched by regulators on Thursday.


The NASD Investor Education Foundation kicked off a multi-million-dollar training and promotion effort that targets military service members and their spouses.


The campaign follows recent scandals in which a few financial firms were accused of exploiting troops headed for Iraq with deceptive loans, investments and life insurance.
