Using a combination of tact, targeting and technology, a 2-year-old collections firm is winning customers and growing dramatically.

Knightsbridge Receivables Management LLC started with a staff of two: its founding corporate managers-turned-entrepreneurs. Now, the firm has grown to employ 25 and plans continued rapid expansion over the next year.

Its roster of about 50 clients represents approximately $100 million in accounts receivable.

Knightsbridge doesn’t need tough talk because it uses a computer modeling program to help it collect, said Eugene V. Brugger, president and one of the founders.
