Merrill Lynch may buy about 37 percent more in its Indian affiliate from the local co-founder, in a deal valued at about 14.61 billion rupees ($316 million), the Economic Times daily reported on Tuesday.


The deal would give Merrill Lynch 77 percent of DSP Merrill Lynch, in which it now owns 40 percent, the paper said.
