Regardless of your personal feelings, Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson says that things are looking up for the U.S. economy.



“We have a healthy economy in the U.S.,” Paulson said in an interview with CNBC television from the Chicago Board of Trade. “We appear to be making a transition to a more sustainable rate of growth,” he said.



In the same interview, Paulson also had some words of wisdom for China who, Paulson believes, needs to increase flexibility in its foreign exchange regime in the short-term, in order to give chances of the yuan being traded on the free market in the long-term.
