Although increasingly concerned about energy costs, availability of qualified workers, pressure for increased wages, and interest rates, executives of large U.S. multinationals have a more confident outlook than a year ago. Their revenue growth targets for the next 12 months, investment plans, plans to hire, and gross margins are on the rise, PricewaterhouseCoopers finds.


PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Management Barometer is a quarterly survey of senior executives of large, U.S.-based multinational companies. This summarizes findings about the second quarter business climate, from interviews conducted with 137 CFOs and Managing Directors, through July 18, 2006.
