With an increase in online purchase fraud, more and more retailers are fighting back ? and winning.

Used to be, customers could make purchases and then dispute the charges afterwards, leading to hundreds of millions of dollars in lost online revenue. According to an Associated Press story filed yesterday, what had once been seen as simply a hidden ? and expensive ? cost of online retailing is now where online retailers are pushing back.
