No longer waiting until late bills go to collection, several utilities ? including cell phone big kid Verizon ? are making monthly reports of customers? full credit histories to credit bureaus. Everything from on-time payments to delinquencies make it to the report, meaning credit scores can take many more hits than before, according to a story in New Jersey?s Courier-Post.

While some of these hits may sting some consumers, the monthly reports also reward customers who make continual on-time payments as well.
