Baycorp Advantage plans a New Zealand public offering for its debt collection unit before mid-year if several potential buyers do not make a good enough offer.

Andrew Want, chief executive of the Australasian financial services company, said a “limited number of potential buyers” were doing due diligence on Baycorp Collection Services.
