TNB Card Services has introduced VIP CardStation™, a powerful new online tool that gives TNB’s credit union clients an industry-leading, powerful solution for simple, efficient card portfolio management.


TNB, an industry leader in electronic payments processing services and agent issuing for credit unions, announced VIP CardStation today. The company described it as a user-friendly account management system that requires minimal training and delivers industry-leading functions and capabilities. The product is an easy to use solution that works for credit unions of all sizes and requires no expensive customization.


VIP CardStation moves the credit union card issuer from the traditional credit card account management system to a more user-friendly environment. The result is a tool that is simple to navigate using point-and-click technology, drop down menus, and help functions. The previous system uses a process of accessing various screens and entering strings of codes to complete tasks.


“We have consistently heard from our clients that the cardholder account management system was too difficult to use. What they wanted was a user-friendly product that required less training for their staff while providing improved workflow over the old system. VIP CardStation is that product,” said Glen Lee, first senior vice president of TNB Card Services.


VIP CardStation gives credit unions real-time control to update cardholder data and logs any changes made to a cardholder’s account with a record kept of who made the change and when. Credit union users can view ? and print ? any card activity occurring in the past 12 months. Status changes are made real-time, providing credit unions better security controls and real-time authorization management.


The VIP CardStation screen looks very similar to Windows®-based screens that computer users are familiar with. Navigation has been simplified to allow point-and click access to various tasks. Complex work flows have been eliminated and replaced with simple “wizards” that walk the user through multi-step functions. VIP CardStation also offers built-in system checks to reduce common keying errors, audit reporting, and detailed delinquency information by cycle.


“We have seen immediate benefits from VIP CardStation, especially in our employees’ use of the system to help members. The old system was cumbersome and difficult to use, which made employees reluctant to use it,” said Lee Gessner, vice president of finance for Mesquite Credit Union. “CardStation has improved productivity and generated enthusiasm from employees, which is something you seldom see from a new product.”
